Fillers are one of the quickest and safest ways to remove the signs of aging by adding volume. As we age, we lose collagen, soft tissue, and bone mass in the face, and gravity also takes its toll. Injections of filler typically take less than 30 minutes.

The number of injections required depends on a patient’s unique facial features and the extent of facial aging. Topical anesthetic and/or dental blocks are used to decrease discomfort during the injections. The initial outcome of fillers is noticeable almost immediately, though it may be obscured by visible swelling that will resolve in a few days.
